Who you are dealing with
Nimbus is built and operated by Riley AI Systems, in Fargo, North Dakota. One person runs it. When something breaks, the person who answers is the person who wrote it.
Using Nimbus means agreeing to what is on this page and on the privacy policy.
What Nimbus is
Nimbus keeps your business's profile, the facts, rules, contacts and tasks your AIs work from, and keeps it current. It works through the AIs you already use, and in its own web app, Mac app and Telegram.
- It reads only what you connect. When you connect an app, Nimbus can read it to suggest updates to your profile. Every change waits for your yes.
- It doesn't send on its own. Nimbus checks what your AI writes before it goes out. Sending stays with you and your AI.
- It does not decide what is true. It compares a draft against records you confirmed. If you confirmed something wrong, a draft repeating it passes.
What a receipt is not
This is the part worth reading twice, because a receipt looks more official than it is.
- It is not proof that anything is true. It proves a check ran and what the result was. If the records behind it were wrong, the receipt faithfully records a check against wrong records.
- It is not proof of full coverage. A receipt names what was measured and what was not. Something can pass while a number in the same sentence was never checked at all, and the receipt says so.
- It is not a compliance certificate. It does not make you compliant with any regulator, carrier, employer or professional body, and it is not evidence that you met an obligation to one.
- It is not legal, financial, medical or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for review by someone qualified to give it.
If you are in a regulated field, treat a receipt as a working record of your own checking, not as something to hand a regulator. Ask the people who govern your work what they will accept before relying on it.
Your content stays yours
The facts, rules and sources you confirm belong to you. Riley AI Systems claims no ownership of them and does not sell them.
You give permission to store and process them for the purpose of running Nimbus for you, and nothing else. Nobody here reads them to improve the product, as the privacy policy sets out in full.
You can take everything out with export, or delete all of it with forget, at any time, without asking anyone.
What you agree not to do
- Do not put in data you are not allowed to share, including someone else's personal or confidential information you have no right to hold.
- Do not use Nimbus to make a false claim look verified. A receipt describes a check. Presenting one as though it proves more than it says is the one misuse this whole thing exists to prevent.
- Do not try to break, overload or work around the gate, for yourself or anyone else.
- Do not resell or repackage access without agreeing that with me first.
Plans and payment
The current prices are on the pricing page.
- Trial. Owner is free for 14 days. No card to start. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged. Add a card when you upgrade, or when you hit a limit.
- Setup. Setup fees are paid once: $500 (optional on Owner), $1,000 on Business and $2,500 on Team.
- Billing. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in US dollars, by card through Stripe. Riley AI Systems never sees or stores your card number. Prices do not include sales tax where it applies.
- Renewal. A subscription renews each month until you cancel it.
- Weekly allowance. Every plan includes a weekly amount of Nimbus, shown on Nimbus settings with when it resets. Add more usage is $10, paid once; what you don't use carries over, up to $200 a month.
- Cancelling. Cancel any time. You keep your plan until the end of the month you paid for. Then your account pauses: nothing you stored is deleted, you can still export all of it, and Nimbus stops working for you until you subscribe again, when it picks up where it left off.
- No refunds. Payments aren't refunded, including for a partial month. Setup fees and Add more usage are non-refundable.
- Changing plans. Moving between plans takes effect straight away, and the difference is prorated on your next invoice.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while. If it still can't be collected, your account pauses the same way, with nothing deleted.
- Price changes. You will get thirty days notice before your price changes. Anyone who joined before October 5, 2026 keeps the plan and price listed when they joined for a year.
Beta, and what that costs you
Nimbus runs on one server. There is no uptime commitment, and when it is down it is down. Backups run every night to a separate storage provider, so up to a day of changes could be lost.
Features can change or be removed. The service can be discontinued. If that happens you will be told with enough notice to export, and export will keep working until the end.
It is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. Liability for any loss arising from using it is limited to the amount you paid for Nimbus in the twelve months before the claim. That is a real limit and it is stated here rather than buried.
Ending it
You can stop whenever you like. Run forget and the account and everything in it is gone.
Access can be suspended for the things listed under what you agree not to do, or if keeping an account running puts other people's data at risk. You will be told why, and you will get the chance to export first unless doing so would make things worse.
Changes to these terms
These terms are dated. If they change in a way that affects what happens to your data or what you are agreeing to, you will be told directly, not by a silent edit to this page.
